The successful candidate will be responsible to:

• Direct a team of mechanics and technicians in the correct and efficient performance of repairs and preventative maintenance of a wide range of heavy equipment and trucks
• Assist mechanics and technicians with the diagnosis of a variety of mechanical, electrical and electronic problems
• Manage costs and inventory
• Maintain and organize shop and maintenance of all mobile equipment

You will be required to have the following skills and qualifications:

• Solid heavy duty mechanical background, familiar with both shop and field environments
• Knowledgeable with Microsoft Excel, spreadsheets and overall computer experience
• Well-developed team and customer service skills, experience supporting work teams
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Self-starter, takes initiative and is client-service oriented
• Highly effective problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
